What is SSC CHSL Exam and What Jobs it offers?
Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL, 10+2) Exam is conducted by The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for recruitment of candidates not necessarily holding a graduation degree. Minimum qualification required is 12th Class degree.
The candidates qualifying all the tiers are offered central govt. jobs, some of which are as follows:
Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants (PA/SA)

SSC CGL Recruitment Process: It is held in 3 tiers or stages. First two are online, while the latter one is a skill test, and is to be conducted for the candidates whose desired job profile demands it.

There is no sectional cut-off. The candidate can switch between the questions of any sections anytime. There are 4 sections, but basically it is like 100 questions which have to be attempted in 75 minutes.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Syllabus:
It is a descriptive exam which includes essay and letter/application writing. This stage makes sure that the future qualified candidates will be able to maintain records and communicate in the formal manner.
The essay has to be written with 200-250 words, while the Letter/Application has word limit of 150-200 words. The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-II would be 33 per cent.
SSC CHSL Tier 3 Exam Syllabus:
This stage includes selective skill exams which are considered important and relevant for the few government posts.
